Since I can remember, I’ve been intrigued by plants and flowers and been fortunate to be surrounded by people who encouraged this. My dad taught me how to notice the smallest details when distinguishing trees and plants, my Mamaw had a contagious passion for gardening and growing house plants and my mom is a master vegetable gardener.

When a friend gifted me watercolor supplies I started painting every day, feeling inspired by the natural world and captivated by how engaging painting felt.

Painting has helped me gain a deeper perspective and appreciation for the natural world. From alpine ridges and meadows, to my neighborhood in the valley floor, there is inspiration and curiosity everywhere.

I hope my art will remind you of a special place, whether it’s deep in the mountains or outside your front door. Thank you for supporting my art!
